Why is insurance not included?
Keeping insurance separate from your subscription or lease means you can shop around for the best price, use any no-claims discount you've built up, and add named drivers or business use as needed — something that's much harder to do with a bundled policy.
What cover do I need?
You'll need a fully comprehensive policy in your name (or your business's name for company vehicles), with the vehicle correctly registered on the Motor Insurance Database (MID) before you drive it away. Business users should check whether Social, Domestic & Pleasure (SDP) or full Business Use cover is required.
