Whether you're relocating to the UK for a new job, returning after working overseas, or on secondment for a UK employer, a break in your UK address and credit history can make ordinary car finance very difficult. We assess expat and overseas applications individually, looking at affordability, employment and, where relevant, credit history in your home country.
We've supported expats and overseas professionals from the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, India, Dubai and beyond, including secondees from some of the UK's largest employers. Payments can be accepted from over 22 eurozone countries by Direct Debit, or by Visa, Mastercard and American Express for customers from the US and Canada.
This service is intended for customers who hold a UK residential address and can provide proof of UK income — it is not suitable as a short-term travel or leisure hire product.

Can I arrange a car before I arrive in the UK?
Yes, much of the application can be completed remotely — just note in your application that you're an expat or overseas applicant.
What documents will I need?
Typically your passport, driving licence, proof of UK residency, proof of employment and proof of funds. Requirements vary by circumstance.
Will I need to pay a deposit?
Most expat applicants are asked for a refundable security deposit, along with a higher documentation fee (from £495 + VAT).
